"Be a good girl," my mom always said,
As I closed my eyes and bowed my head,
"You're my baby girl," he said with a sigh,
As I sat in his lap, his hand on my thigh.
"You're my angel," he would say as he kissed my lips,
but his eyes said other things as he stared at my hips.
I felt like a demon, a sinnier, a lie,
I couldn't get away, he was always nearby.
"You're my princess, you're mine," he would say everyday,
But doesn't a princess live far far away?
Where is my happy ending, my prince and my kingdom?
I knew I was trapped, forever a victim.
No ending for me, unless it was death,
My heart split into two as I took my final breath,
I enhale
